Brattleboro Turkey Trot

The Brattleboro Turkey Trot won’t be an in-person event this year because of COVID-19 restrictions, but we can’t let Thanksgiving pass without any activity, so we’re switching to a virtual format.

As usual, we’re offering 1-mile and 3-mile options. Participants can run or walk the actual race course – out-and-back on Upper Dummerston Rd., starting near the Brattleboro Country Club – any time from Saturday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 29, or you can complete one of those distances at a location of your choosing. After you finish, you can submit your time on the event's RunSignUp results page.

There's no entry fee, but you must preregister to get a virtual race bib and be included in the results. Also, we're asking participants to consider making a donation to Collaborative Groundworks or the Vermont Foodbank. Because there are no race expenses this year, all proceeds will go to those two charities.
